The Myrtle Beach area experienced a rare winter wonderland on Wednesday, Jan. 22, with snow blanketing Horry County.
Carolina Forest and Loris recorded the highest snowfall amounts, reaching 6 inches — among the most significant totals since 2000, according to news partner WMBF News. Meanwhile, Little River and Surfside Beach saw lighter accumulations, with about 3 inches of snow.
